Indeed there was a profound family connection Marek.
This young man maybe 25 summers no more was my grandfather’s nephew.
I have an image of his wife Emma and 2 lovely kids.
Her eyes transfixed mine because they spoke to me in languages of hope and fear in equal measures.
I believe she knew exactly his fate.
