the poet is the God of the gaps

she writes between the lines

and she is dancing dancing

she never rests the poet

she says that she will never cease the scratching of her pen

until the reader draws his final breath

and her heart winds down like a clock

the well of her ink run dry

    1. What a great word “amanuensis” Marek, I have read it somewhere before. The etymology is Latin I believe “servus a manu” slave at hand writing secretary etc. and “ensis” to belong to something.
