singular in his knowledge
an encyclopaedia of words translated to suit the tastes of any
discrimination or otherwise was at his disposal
yet he chose never to deploy a phrase or even a word without a deep
intuition that the soul he addressed understood his language and could
follow it as a trail to his own enlightenment
