what is this world other than a swirling wrecked flotsom fragile upon the seas

survivors struggle to stay afloat competing to grasp the architecture of their fate

others drink the salty waters and perish under a garish sun and soon fade to darkness as those afflicted sink in a spiral of death

they are all observant like the Jews await the Messiah walking on the waters of the dried out Dead Sea

they wander and wander alone as judges devoid of statutes struggle to execute their reasoning let alone condemn any citizen to an early death

no air merely a zephyr rises and falls like breath

only a plenitude of water deep and triumphal as the cortex of man plumbs fortune and delivers life for now
